In the event that a planned itinerary has to change due to weather, natural/man made disasters, accommodation changes, accident, personal health/medical, mechanical issues or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect rider, passenger, group or motorcycle from the pre-booked itinerary; Great Moto Escape is not liable beyond the pro-rata value of the trip and will endeavour in whatever way is necessary to ensure a successful and safe trip, but is not responsible for any ensuing additional costs.

Method of payment can be made by bank transfer, bank card, credit card or via PayPal.

Great Moto Escape has taken out, as part of the package, an insurance damage waiver to cover any costs of damage to the hired motorcycle and luggage. This reducs the liability in case of theft of damage to a max of $1000, this will be charged to a credit card and held at the time of bike collection and refunded after the it is returned in an undamaged conditionl.

PLEASE NOTE, the damage waiver is not valid if a vehicle is taken off road. Customers are responsible for the full value in its entirety and damage to the motorcycle, if it so happens whilst being used outside the restrictions of the damage waiver.

Great Moto Escape will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items to the customer or their party. Every effort should be taken to secure your property and the vehicle to the best of your ability.

Riders must have a valid appropriate motorcycle license for 500cc+ motorcycle hire, in addition to an international license. Also, travel insurance to cover health and personal possessions is required. You must ensure the travel insurance covers you to ride a motorcycle over 500cc. You are reminded that in the USA medical bills have to be paid for, so please refer to the fine print in your travel insurance if you are required to pay up front and claim back.
Please see Licence and Insurance requirements.

If for any reason we deem a person(s) unfit to ride due to illness, drink or drugs during the course of the tour for the safety of themselves and other tour parties, we will have to insist they do not ride. If this results in not being able to keep up/continue with the tour there will be no refunds given, and any itinerary costs e.g. extended hotel costs, in its entirety, will be their responsibility.

All bikes are well-maintained, however we cannot accept responsibility for mechanical, electrical or other types of breakdowns. Whilst we have taken out breakdown insurance to get you going again as soon as possible, the size of the country and distances being traveled need to be considered. Every effort will be made to repair or replace the vehicle; if a direct replacement vehicle is not available, liability for failure to deliver against a booking is limited to the pro-rata value of said booking.

It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure his motorcycle is safe to ride, reporting any faults. It is also the riders responsibility to adhere to the rules of the road, observe speed limits and instructions from the tour leader when necessary. We do strongly suggest that all riders consider the repercussions of their riding, since an accident of any kind will not just impact themselves but everyone else on the tour. Great Moto Escape nor the guides can be held responsible if customers fail to do so. No liability is accepted in the event of a collision.

For safety reasons we regret no person under 21yrs can travel on the motorcycles.

Great Moto Escape cannot accept responsibility for bad weather, traffic conditions, or missed connections due to outside influences, but will make every effort to have a backup plan or alternate route when practical.

Great Moto Escape will be taking photographs throughout the tour to enhance our brand either on our website, social media and other promotional literature. Any photographs taken by us, we will happily share with you upon request. If you do not wish your photographs to be used, please let us know at time of booking.
